InChI and web services enable more accurate, dynamic content linking
Washington, DC - SureChem and ChemSpider, the open access chemical structure database, have linked their content using InChI codes and keys, enabling users to conduct searches across the content of both portals.
After identifying a structure of interest on SureChem, users can directly launch a search for that structure on ChemSpider to retrieve property information, NMR spectra and links to the wide range of other structure and text databases indexed by ChemSpider. Likewise, after performing a structure search on ChemSpider, users will be shown if any patents contain that structure, the number of patents, and their titles and ID numbers.
SureChem has deposited its structure backfile with ChemSpider, ensuring that any structures on ChemSpider that are contained in SureChem patents will be returned in searches. More recent patent results are delivered to ChemSpider users using SureChem's web service product.
SureChem is committed to expanding links with other online chemistry and biology databases and document repositories. For more information on linking with SureChem please contact us at sales@surecheminc.com or by calling 415-775-7630.
